Scotty D. Burton 48, of Scipio, Indiana passed away at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana on May 14, 2022. He was born in 1973 in Seymour, Indiana to Ronald and April Collins Burton.

Scotty graduated from Jennings County High School in 1991.

He enjoyed playing soccer, going mushroom hunting, playing guitar, and listening to music.

He is survived by his children; Chandler D. Burton and Jacobi Burton, parents, and brothers Justin (Erika) Burton and Aaron Burton.

In keeping with Scotty’s wishes cremation services are being conducted by the caring staff at Voss and Sons Funeral Service.

I am going to miss Scott so much. We became best friends in a very short period of time but I felt like I knew him all my life. He was a great guy and friend. I miss ya already but I know your not suffering anymore.

Sending my thoughts and prayers. Scott came to Sisters Floral a few years ago. He shared parts of his life with me. He has been in my daily prayers since then. He made a stop a few months back, he’d been in the hospital. I didn’t recognize him until he told me his name. I replied, “ I have kept you in my daily prayers!” I received a huge smile and a “Thank You!” Again, I send my prayers for peace and comfort to all.
