Sharon Personett

Sharon Personett, 78 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away at 4:46 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

She was born June 6, 1938, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ruth (Weekly) Manuel.

She married Paul Personett on November 10, 1956, in Hartsville, Tennessee.

Sharon was a member of Central Christian Church for over 60 years. She graduated from Shields High School in 1956 and worked as the Secretary/Treasurer at Crown Supply for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, their children, Greg (Deena) Personett, Tony (Diane) Personett and Brian (Gina) Personett; grandchildren, Katie (Chris) Hopkins, Cameron “Mitchel” Personett, Logan Personett, Tucker Personett and Paige Personett; and great-grandchildren, Aslynn and Avery Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Nicholas Personett.

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 11:00 am with Rev. Kit Bogan officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm and Wednesday after 10:00 am until time of service.
