Sharon Strong

March 15, 1945 - April 10, 2015

Sharon Strong, 70 of Brownstown, passed away April 10, 2015 at Our Hospice of Columbus.

Sharon was born in Seymour, March 15, 1945 to the late Maxine B Durham and Charles B. “Chuck” Ray.

She attended the Easyville Pentecostal Church. Sharon married Leroy Strong in Jackson County December 23, 1962.

Sharon enjoyed humming birds, flowers, butterflies and especially her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband and children, Jonetta (Ray) Engleking, Darl Strong, Michele (Strong) Runions, Wendy (Strong) Weddell, and Deanna (Strong) Wilbanks.
She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Brothers Charles “Buzz” (Joyce) Ray, Jon S. Ray and sister Rhonda Wingler and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son, Hugh LeRoy (PeRoy) Strong II, grandson Chad Engleking, sister Candy Ray and brother Milton “Pugh” Ray.

Memorials may given to Donor’s Choice.

Per Sharon’s wishes there will be no services. Private burial will take place at a later date at Riverview Cemetery.
