Shelia Jean Brewer, 82, of Brownstown, passed away January 20, 2023, at Hoosier Christian Village. She was born on April 27, 1940, to the late Robert and Zola Albertson Bell.

She is survived by her five daughters, Kelly (Jim) Lawson, Tami (Barry) Hall, Tina (Greg) Benton, Shannon (Rob) Cummings, Kacy McElfresh; one son, Sherman (Alisha) McElfresh III; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchild; brother-in-law, David Baxter; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Bell; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters: Becky Lee Bell, Billie Jo Bell, and Bonnie Baxter; brother, Jerry Bell.

Shelia was a member of Brownstown Methodist Church. She retired from Pretium Packaging in Seymour. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and playing a good game of Scrabble.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Voss & Sons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
