Vicky and Pat, you have our sympathy in the loss of your mother. I'm sorry we can't be with you to visit and tell you in person, but a sudden sickness stopped us. I'm glad that Aunt Shirley arranged for that reunion a few years ago; it was great and she seemed to enjoy it so much as did everyone there. She was a sweet lady and I'm glad that she was part of the Mackey family for all those years. May your memories comfort you.

Aunt Shirley loved the Family Reunions that we had and the fun that we all had. She will be missed by all that loved her and knew her. I remember when my grandfather, Lavelle (Joe) Butler would go Aunt Shirley and Uncle Paul's house so that me and my sister could play with our cousins. Miss you Aunt Shirley now you are with Paul and your siblings. Your time here on earth was a struggle and now you are free of all the pains that you had. R.I. For several years, Shirley put all her change in a Coffee Mate container. When it was time for another Haiti mission trip, she would have me come her her chocked full container. I know God honored those efforts and even multiplied it! She always encouraged others to find a way to help also. Her picture with her Coffee Mate container is still up on our mission board! She was saying "Give to missions!"
