Oh my sweet sweet Nana! I remember one winter I came to Indiana and spent a whole month, just me and Nana. Most of that time was spent snowed in playing rummy and eating delicious macaroni and cheese! She was always there with a smile for me and I always felt so safe amd loved with her. I know she missed Papa with her whole heart everyday and I am so thankful they get to be together again. We love you Nana and will see you again one day, but for now I take solice knowing you are with Papa and hope you look at your family with a clear mind knowing each and everyone of us again.

People loved Shirley, because Shirley loved people. I am blessed to have learned that from experience as a child. May the memory of Shirley's loving spirit continue to feed, strengthen and inspire all those who have met her, known her, learned from her, and loved her. The world is a better place because Shirley was here. Praise the Lord for the life and legacy of this precious and wonderful woman, who was His servant, and a vessel for His Love. Lee Ingram

Amanda Bartholome left a message on November 22, 2021:
Shirley Bibb was THE BEST Nana. Some of my fondest memories of her were made during the summers that I spent with her and Papa. I especially loved the time we spent together camping at Friendship, as well as our back country drives to The Farm. Her biscuits and sausage gravy will forever by my favorite. And I will never forget the enthusiasm with which she’d cheer on IU during their basketball games. She truly was a special lady, and a blessing in the lives of those who knew her. I love you, Nana. Daryl Parker left a message on November 22, 2021:
My name is Daryl Parker. I am married to Barbara. I remember the first time I met Shirley. Almost 45 years ago. Barbara and I had been dating a short time when she asked me if I wanted to meet her mother. Normally that would be a stressful event. It wasn’t. Shirley was warm and inviting and made me feel welcome. Shirley’s first impression was that I was too skinny and immediately went in the kitchen to make me a meal. That would be the first of Thousand meals she would prepare for me. Over the years I grew to love and appreciate the way she raised Barbara. Shirley, I love and you and will miss you. Until we meet again in heaven...love, Daryl

We were friends since 2nd grade. In a small school like Hayden you become more like cousins than school mates. My birthday will be sad as we shared November 28 as our day. It’s been a long time since we have been able to really talk but she knew how much I loved her. She is at peace now in the arms of God.

My name is Carolyn Whitson, my husband Greg and I are really good friends of Dennis. My favorite memory of Shirley is when Dennis would bring her over to the house and we would sit outside enjoying nature. Shirley would watch the birds with such intent and remark about their beautiful colors!! Around that time her memory was short but her sense of humor was enormous. She had such a contagious laugh, and such a kind heart. Shirley was such a wonderful cook, I still use a few of her recipes. RIP Shirley
