Ms. Susan Anita (Hill) McIntosh, 60, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Schneck Medical Center.
Born June 5, 1953, in Columbus, IN, she was the daughter of Jack D. Hill and Gale E. (Davenport) Lusk, who both survive.
Susan lived most of her life in Seymour graduating from Seymour High School in 1972. She worked with her father and grandmother Anita Hill in the family bakery “Cake Box”. She worked briefly at Brown School in the cafeteria where her two sons attended. Her joy was her sons Brian and Brent. Her heart grew bigger with Dustyn her grandson. Her love of animals and caring for them was a huge passion.
Besides her parents she is survived by her sons Brian (Teresa) McIntosh and Brent McIntosh; her sister Debra (Willie) Reinhart; step-brother: Rod (Charlene) Farrow; grandson Dustyn; aunts Jean Nichter and Pauline Kasting; also a very good and loving friend George Thornton; niece Tiffany Bruce; nephews: Drew Reinhart and Jonathan Farrow.
Preceded in death by step mother Jean Hill; step father Phil Lusk; step-sister: Marsha Farrow and nieces Jennifer Farrow and Amy Farrow.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22, at Voss Chapel at 6:00 PM with Rev. Larry Tingle officiating. Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday from 4:00 PM until time of service.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Voss Funeral Service and Tri-County Crematory.
