Ms. Susan M. Otte, 52 of Seymour passed away at the Lutheran Community Home on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.

Susan was born in Seymour, Indiana on April 24, 1965, the daughter of the late Leonard and Marilyn Borcherding Otte.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Borchers and a graduate of Seymour Senior High School, Class of 1983. Susan had worked as a hostess and did secretarial work for many years. She enjoyed her biblical studies and any time spent with her grandchildren.

Susan will be missed by her children: Chantel Clark (Gonzalo Cardoso) , Kristi (John) Wolf Gray and John Clark (Becky Wheeler), sister: Kim (Stan) Dunn, sister in law Ellie Otte Potter, grandchildren: Angel, Isaiah, Gabriella, Luis, Rosalie, King, Darrien, Ainsley, Serenity and step mother Mildred Hageman Otte.

She is preceded by her parents, brother: Mike Otte.

Funeral service will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 12th, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Borchers at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Christie Beckmann, officiating. Eulogy will be presented by Mr. Les Linz.

Family and friends may visit at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, July 11th from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Family request that memorials be designated to the Pancreatic Cancer Research or charity of choice.

I met Susan when she first became a patient at Schenck. Of course I did not have a clue what she was there for. I just knew she was one sweet lady! I had seen her this last time and knew it was not good. Her disposition was still sweet regardless of how sick she really was. I will miss her smile and her saying to me "I'm so happy to see you". Oh Susan we will see each other again!

I went to school with Susan from Jr high to high school, she was a great person who loved everyone, had a heart of gold, she would help you if she could and be there for you she will be missed by so many, my heart goes out to her children may the lord wrap his loving arms around you all and give you confront at this sad time.... I love you Susan until we see each other again.... Fly high with the angles my friend.....

Susan and I met in 6th grade, I was a heavy girl most of my life and like kids do, they were picking on me and even way back then , she wasnt going to have it and our friendship grew , she was an exceptional person with a heart of Gold and a smile that could light up any room,she was and is an inspiration to me and many others, she loved me when at times i didnt love myself and I will always be grateful that God sent her into my life ,It isnt Goodbye , It is Ill see ya later and i hope they have donuts , Fly high Sweetie til I see you again , always missed and loved

Susan was so special no matter how hard life got she never let anybody or anything take the smile off her beautiful face she's was definitely one of a kind she's was the type of person that made you a better person just by knowing her and I thank God that I had the pleasure rest in peace Suzi Q I'll always Love you

This woman was a real inspiration in the lives of so many my memories were from High School and the again while working for a cleaning company at Seymour Tubing RIP my friend Fly high on Angel winfa because you certainly was an angel you will be missed

I remember the first time I met Susan. Her dad was my math teacher at shields jr high. She had to take the other math teacher. We had sleep overs at each other's house. What a wonderful person inside and out. Peace be with you. Another angel in heaven
