Terence “Terry” George Hofer, 58, of Seymour, Indiana passed away June 14, 2022, at his residence. In 1964, he was born to LaVerne Hofer and the late Angeline (Boelson) Hofer.
On August 11, 1990, he married the love of his life, Linda McMichael. He is survived by his wife; Linda Hofer of Seymour, his father; LaVerne Hofer of Beresford, his son; Alex Hofer of Seymour, his daughters; Emily Hofer and Anna Hofer of Indianapolis, and his sisters; Tracee (Brian) Wuestewald, Tami (Keith) Voegeli, Trisha Voegeli, and Tiffanee (Ryan) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Angeline Boelson Hofer.
Terry graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in pharmacy and was a long time pharmacist at the CVS in Seymour.
He was very active as a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and St. Ambrose Youth ministries as a parish member and mentor, participating in numerous mission trips throughout the years. He was an involved member of the Knights of Columbus.
Terry was an avid Nebraska football and Rams fan and could often be found watching the games. He enjoyed going to sporting events and participated as both a coach and a fan at his own children’s games. Terry was a proud and involved father and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Sunday June 19, 2022, from 2pm to 6pm and then Monday June 20, 2022, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Burial to follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, St. Ambrose Youth Ministry, St. Ambrose Catholic School, or to the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery Endowment Fund in memory of Terry Hofer.
