Teresa Spurgeon, 66, of Freetown, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at IU Health in Bloomington surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in 1954, daughter of the late Carl Elmer and Thelma Faye (Gorbett) Spurgeon.

Teresa is survived by her children, Gary Wayne (Jessica) Engelking, Nathan Allen (Melina) Engelking, Joshua Carlton Leroy (Cari) Engelking; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Spurgeon, Thomas (Nel) Spurgeon, Steven “Bub” (Kimberly) Spurgeon; sisters, Audrey Cobb and Barbara Hall.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Voss Chapel from 5-7pm.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Voss Chapel at 7pm.

In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, cremation will be provided by Voss Funeral and Cremation services.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.
