Thelma Joan Andrew

Thelma Joan Andrew, 80, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

She was born December 19, 1935, in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Howard Clay Carr and Minnie Anna Ellis Carr.

Thelma married Robert Lee Andrew on January 21, 1959, in Seymour.

Thelma was a very enjoyable person to be around. If you were in the same room as her you could feel the love and happiness she had for everyone.

She is survived by her children: Dennis Ray (Jan) Andrew McNulty, Rebecca Sue Andrew, Richard (Debbie) Budd, Patricia Miller, Jeffrey (Janice) Andrew, John Andrew, Pamela (Jim) Wilson and Brenda Andrew; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and two brothers: George Donald (Inez) Carr and Robert (Georgetta) Carr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers: Willard Neal Carr, Glen Leroy Carr and Elmer Charles Carr.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, October 21, 2016, at Voss Chapel with Rev. Andrew Currao and Rev. John Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday October 20, from 4 to 8 pm and Friday after 10 am until time of service.

Memorial checks may be written to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
