Uncle Tom - you will be missed by so many, but I know you're reunited with Aunt Kay in Heaven. Rest in peace - and go fishing!! Hugs to Tom and Andy! I wish we could have made it down for the service.

I met Tom at Indiana Demolay Conclave at Depauw University nearly 30 years ago. It seemed almost every year we shared a pizza together at this yearly event. The past few years we exchanged cards at Christmas. I was fortunate enough to come visit him a couple years ago at lodge one summer evening. I will miss him, but I know he’s no longer in pain, and he’s with his family in heaven. Dad Niemeyer it was an honor to be your friend and lodge brother.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Tom was always the Niemeyer brother who had a smile on his face to greet you warmly. I enjoyed his stories of traveling with Kay and I know he will be happy reunited with her. His love for his kids and grandkids could be felt by the joy he beamed when he saw them walk into the room at family reunions. We benefited from his love of fishing and my daughter always enjoyed looking through his rocks and precious stones collection with him. Some of her favorite items are ones he gifted her from his collection - especially some dangle earrings which I believe were her main motivation for ever getting her ears pierced :) Every interaction, he always seemed to bring his authentic self and that is something our family will carry with us and work to emulate. Special love to the cousins grieving their Dad and Grandpa.

There are a few memories that stick out. Thomas's love, dedication and commitment for his Family, the Lodge, and his Faith in God. His passion for fishing, trains, stones, antiques. Going through stones...a couple of stones and a watch that he found that he gave my daughter and some for my son, getting fish sliced just right to fry, watching him build things for his trains. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I love you all very much.
