Mrs. Toni Michelle Ruddick, 31, of Seymour, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis following heart surgery. She was born in Seymour, the daughter of Tony Ruddick and Lisa (Chisham) Morris.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, June 27 at 10:30 am with Deacon Mike East officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until time of service.
She married Benjamin Taylor in November 2008; he survives. She had been an assistant manager at Captain D’s for many years and was currently working at Waffle House. Toni had a sweet kind heart; she loved her children and family. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Toni is survived by her husband; children, Kaydee Ruddick, Hunter Taylor, Mason Taylor and Serenity Gaskin; mother; father; brother, Casey (Brandi Smithson) Morris; sister, Jessi (Brett) Kleber; maternal grandmother, Betty Jo “Joby” Moore; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Ruddick; uncles, Rick Chisham and Rick Ruddick; aunts, Debbie Cockraham and Trina Roark; nephews, Moses, Max and Jaxon; nieces, Shea, Macy, Charlie and Mallory; roommate and best friend, Larry Beary
She was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Anne Jackson; maternal grandfather, Richard Chisham; paternal grandfather, Donald Ruddick; great grandparents, Ed and Betty Leckermeyer, Robert Chisham, Lawrence and Violet Ruddick, Myrtle Johnson Dowling and Margaret Chisham Tabor; great aunts and uncles, Dorla and Jerry Curry and Donna Leckermeyer.
Memorials may be written to Methodist Hospital Children’s Care Center, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

I am so sorry for the loss this family has endured. I knew Toni from school and it has been a few years since we have ran into each other but she was always an awesome person. May God help heal the pain you are all going through.

Toni and I are not only the best of friends but we were sisters and shared the closet friendship anyone could ask for. I love her so much. She will always be with me and my Love will always be with her family and children.
