Mr. Tony Ray Wischmeier, 57 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016, in Columbus.
Tony was born July 27, 1959, in Seymour, the son of Patty Luenebrink Wischmeier and the late Ralph Edward William Wischmeier.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Eagles Club and the American Legion, all of Seymour.
Tony worked in customer care as the delivery man for O’Reilly Auto Parts for many years in Seymour.
He enjoyed Nascar racing and was a big fan of Tony Stewart. He was always a handy man, as he would tinker with cars and could put anything together. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Tony is survived by his mother, Patty, brother, David Lee (Brenda) Wischmeier, sister, Kathy Jo (Nelson) Engleking, nephews and nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Andrew Currao and Rev. Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Monday, November 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday after 10 a.m. until time of service.
