Our thoughts and prayers go out to LaNelle, Chris, Carissa, and Corey on the loss of their husband and father. We will always remember Wally as such a warm and genuine man who loved his Lord and led his family in obedience to God's Word. Wally followed Jesus and it showed in his words and actions, and even his humor. We enjoyed having your family as neighbors when the kids were growing up and being part of our church family years ago. The years have passed since we have seen LaNelle and Wally but we have never forgotten you. Wally is with his Lord now and we look forward to the day we shall see him again in Heaven. Blessings and peace to the Tallents. Joe and Vicki Smith

I have known Wally, LaNelle and the Tallent family for nearly 40 years. We want LaNelle to know we are with her in this time a loss. We can not begin to know how lost she must be without Wally. What I remember most about Wally is his laugh (he did that often) that was accompanied by his since of humor - that could often be directed to anyone around him (and sometimes me - for which I will forever be grateful) - his Christ centered life principles lived out at work and home and his professional acumen. I not only knew Wally as the person but also experienced his life's consistency as we worked at the same firm for nearly 15 years. He was a brilliant engineer (had several patents...) was respected for his high integrity, and was someone that fellow managers and staff trusted and respected. The world and I as a person are in a better place by knowing Wally. May God comfort those who grieve with the memory of their dad, husband and brother. May the smile that shows up when you think of Wally redirect the tears on your face.
