William “Bill” L. Cullison

August 9, 1945 - August 23, 2021

William “Bill” L. Cullison, 76, of Seymour, IN passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on August 23, 2021. Bill was born on August 9, 1945, in Linton, IN to Ruth Lorene (Cullison) Allen Huffman. Bill married Gloria Ashcraft in 1983. Bill worked for Excello Shirt Corporation as the Vice President of Manufacturing for a number of years. He and his wife also owned and operated Columbus Suzuki/Kawasaki for 4 years. Bill served his country in the National Guard. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, being outdoors, fishing, camping, kayaking, playing guitar, and woodworking. Bill also had a private pilot’s license and built and flew his own airplane.
Bill is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children, William (Karin Conn) Cullison, Jr. and Amy (John) Koch; his stepchildren, John (Amy) Ashcraft and Jennifer Ashcraft; his stepbrother, Stan Allen; and his 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth, stepfather, Johnny Allen, and stepfather, Harold Huffman.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Services have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service. Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be given to Schneck Cancer Center, Schneck Hospice, or the Humane Society of Jackson County.

Bill Cullison was a very dear friend,I will always have great memories of him. He and I have done so many crazy things together,we have a lifetime of memories.Sincere prayers to his family and other friends.GOD bless you all,GOD certainly blessed me with Bill's friendship.

I met Bill Cullison in 1961 at L&M School-Lyons, Indiana. We became close friends in a very few weeks and we kept that friendship until his departure from this earth. He and I and Andy Bloomer hung out together through high school and spent a lot of our free time going spelunking and swimming or just goofing off. We shared our memories from time to time over the years by meeting in Seymour, Bedford Linton or Lyons, while meeting for lunch. I can't remember one time that Bill expressed =anger= at anyone! He was always a very pleasant man to be around. He was my very best friend. We talked on the phone just a few weeks ago and was going to meet again when he got to feeling better.
