I worked with Bill at Quality Mill Supply and eventually becomes Bill's boss, as sales manager. However there was nothing I could teach Bill. All his customers loved him and he was always a gentleman. I learned more from him than he ever did from me! I do remember going with Bill to a customer we had some issues with. We worked hard to be professional with this customer he soon became enraged and asked us to leave and never come back. In the parking lot in a joking voice Bill told Alan Gilbert and I, "I don't think I am going to have you guys work with me anymore!! We all laughed the rest of the day . That was Trimpe!

Bill was my brother in law for many years. Though I haven’t seen him much in recent years, I remember him well. He was a kind, generous person to the core. He further was a person of high integrity. I would have trusted him with my life. He was quick to smile and had a great sense of humor. Just a very likable guy. He once gave me a drill bit set for Xmas. I have used it to this day. Reminds me he sold high quality stuff in his 42 year career. My family and his shared many great times on their lake, Lutheran, in southern Indiana. It was a beautiful setting. Our world was a better place with Bill in it. He will be missed. Tom Woosnam.

A couple of years ago we spent a wonderful day in Tombstone with Bill, Vicki and Karissa. We had not met Bill and Vicki until that morning, and yet it only took a few minutes to get the feeling that we'd known each other for years. He was just one of those rare individuals who instantly make you feel at home and a part of his life. It is mine and Kay's hope and prayer that the family will fill the hole in their hearts created with his passing with nothing but happy thoughts and fond memories of a fine mine and a life well-lived. May God bless you all. Sincerely, John & Kay Oster
