Joe Baker was an incredible man of God. There was not a person he was not friendly to. I have many memories of him from growing up across the cove at Lutheran Lake. May God comfort Patty, Rachel, Baron, and the entire Baker family. He will be missed! Love Justin and Alyssa Klinge

Oh Rachel! I am overwhelmed with sadness for you! I know how crazy you were about him and he was always over the top proud of you and your kids. What a great guy he was and I feel lucky to have enjoyed time with him in the stands of all the ILS sports. You and your family will definitely be our prayers. Consider yourself hugged big!

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Baker Family. I have such great memories of Joe. I remember going out to the house for grade school parties and having so much fun, and who can forget our 8th grade trip to D.C.? He chaperoned us crazy kids and made it one of the fondest memories I have, of all my years at Immanuel. I will never forget it. Thanks Joe.

Sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe always enjoyed fishing on the trips to Lake of the Woods. I can still hear his disstingushed laugh as we cutup and played jokes on feller fishermen. Of course who couldn't laugh with his crazy fishing buddies. Remembering Joe and my prayers to your family. DR Bill Burgess

I got to meet and know Joe thru my Father when he worked for Joe at Baker Wholesale Electric. Joe was a good honest man that treated everyone with respect. I always remember Joe as a friendly outgoing man who always had a smile on his face and a hearty handshake when I would see him. There are not many men around like him any more. Joe was the first person that showed up at my Fathers funeral and offered to do anything to help our family, I will always remember his generosity. My thoughts and prayers are with his Family and friends. Kim Bost

Is was my privilege and honor to work with Joe and Patty at Baker Wholesale for 10 years. I will be forever grateful to them for the opportunities they gave me, which inadvertently launched the career that I still enjoy today. I have so many fond memories of those days, especially that big (often mischievous) smile. Blessings to Patty, Rachel, Baron and family.

Dearest Patty and family.........I didn’t know Joe that well, but wanted you all to know how sorry I was to hear about his death. It leaves a hole in your heart when you lose a loved one. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10: 27-28. God is love. Please know you will continue to be in my prayers ......may you find comfort in all your wonderful memories! Love you Barb Wiggins

Joe was such a fun and happy person to be around. He always found so much joy in making people smile. The first time we met Joe and Patty was at Isla Grand. Joe was handle out necklaces to the ladies with the biggest smile on his face. It was contagious! I still have the necklace from that night and I still smile when I see it. He will be greatly missed.
