Edy Ballard is a graduate of Florida State College and had careers in nursing and human resources before pursuing a degree in funeral service. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vincennes University in 2022 and considers being a funeral director her lifelong calling.

Edy and her husband Roy live on a small farm in Morristown with several beagles, a basset hound, and a parrot named Blu. They have two daughters. They’re members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shelbyville. Edy is a big lover of music, and enjoys spending time with her dogs and browsing antique shops with Roy.
