A. Faye Barker, 96, of Mauldin, South Carolina, widow of Roy H. Barker, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 19, 2022.
Born in Hazard, KY, she was a daughter of the late George & Bessie Barnett. Mrs. Barker was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Bridwell of Mauldin, Larry Barker (Pamela) of KY, Jan Dewar (Philip) of Mauldin, and Donna Clegg (Bruce) of Indiana; grandchildren, Michael Grooms, Kimberly Johns (Kevin), Brian Barker (Kim), Holly Brotzman (Shawn), Darren Ison (Jaime), and George Clegg; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by six brothers.
Graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Standing Springs Baptist Church, 1111 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680, or Riverside Christian School, 114 Riverside Rd, Lost Creek, KY 41348.
