Addyson Engle

Addyson Lea Ann “Addy” Engle, 6 of Commiskey, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Columbus, Indiana.

She was born in Seymour, Indiana, on January 11, 2009, the daughter of Trista Renee Engle and the stepdaughter of Evan Ashby Hawk both of whom survive.

Addy loved going to First Marion Baptist Church with “Papaw Bob”. She had just graduated Kindergarten at Graham Creek Elementary School. She had a very competitive spirit and especially loved playing on monkey bars. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents and loved fishing and hanging out with her “Papaw Bob”.

Addy is survived by her mother and stepfather, a brother Wyatt Lee Ashby Hawk, a sister Alexis Grace Engle, grandparents, Patricia Engle, Bobby and Missy Engle, and Phil (Mary) Hawk; great-grandparents Clarence Simmons, Robert and Irene Engle, and Rachel Hawk; and several aunts and uncles.

Services will be held at Voss Chapel Friday, June 19, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Hood officiating.

Burial will follow at First Marion Baptist Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday after 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Memorial checks may be written to First Marion Baptist Church Vacation Bible School Fund or Graham Creek Elementary School PTO Playground Fund.

i dont remember much of her since i was little to but my mom,samantha c. always tells me about her and how i used to play with her all the time.But with what i remember,i miss you addy

I will always remember you as a sweet little girl, with a smile on your face everyone that i would see you in preschool. You was a really good friend to Caiden and he will miss you.
