Andrew J. Smith, 66, formerly of Brownstown, IN passed away on October 14, 2023, at Seymour Crossings in Seymour, IN.  Andrew was born on November 2, 1956, in Ogdensburg, NY to Edmund and Mary (Phillips) Smith.  He had worked for many years in general construction and turned his attention to construction work for churches prior to his retirement.  Andrew loved fishing, traveling, and spending time with his beloved service dog, Sweetie Pie.

Andrew is survived by his stepson, Jeff (Kimberly) Williams; siblings: Kevin Smith, Dennis Smith, Gary Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Karlyle Smith, Kathryn Pierce, Clarence “Earl” Smith, Todd Smith, Paul Smith, Keith Ashley, and Joan Mix; many grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Weslynn Davis.

There will be a memorial service planned for a later date to celebrate Andrew’s life.  Andrew’s family wanted everyone to know that he was a unique individual who had a positive attitude and was full of hope.
