Anna Rae (Atwood) Bishop, 78, of Seymour passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Scheck Medical Center. Anna was born in Liberty (Casey County, KY) on August 26, 1945, to Willie Lee and Ada M. (McFarland) Atwood. She married her husband, Tom on December 5, 1965, he survives. Anna worked in accounting for many years and retired from the Baptist East Hospital Accounting Department. She loved to crochet, listen to Waylon Jennings, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Tom, Anna is survived by her children: Rebecca (Brett) Hays and Tommy (Tracy) Bishop; siblings: Wilma Taylor, Lana Peyton, Willie Atwood, Martha Malone, Theresa Vondielingen, Nancy Goben, Elizabeth Atwood and Sue Smith; grandchildren: Bethany Applegate, Andrew Jones, Isaac Jones, Dreama Rae Bishop and Samantha Nicole Bishop; step grandchildren: Krista Blevins and Samantha Brooke Maloney; twelve great grandchildren. Anna is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Ed, Emma, Linda, George and Wayne.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 N. Chestnut St., Seymour. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
