Bennie L. Seale Jr., 77 of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at his home in North Vernon, Indiana.
He was born May 14, 1939, in Jonesville, Virginia, the son of Bennie and Dora (Supthin) Seale.
He married Louise M. Weller on December 28, 1963, in Brownstown, Indiana. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2008.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Seymour. He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. Bennie was a Tool & Die Maker and owner/operator of Seale’s Body Shop until his retirement. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his sons, Clayton (Tracy) Seale and John Seale; grandchild, Devin L. Seale and two sisters, Joyce (Chester) Carrol and Charolotte (Curnis) Fee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Nathan L. Seale, stillborn son, Russell L. Seale and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 1:30 pm with Rev. Gary Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Saturday after 11:30 am until time of service.
