Bettye Grubb, 101, of Seymour, Indiana passed away May 21, 2022, at home peacefully in her sleep. In 1920, she was born in Greenwood, Missouri, to the late William and Eppa Jones. On Aril 19, 1980, she married the late, James Grubb.
Bettye was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her step-children; Barbara Bell, Richard Grubb, Dwayne Grubb, and her granddaughter; Kimberly Fish, and step-granddaughter Brittany Grubb, a great grandson; Tyler Henthorne, nieces Annette (Tom) Waldkoetter and Pamela (Al) Tauler of Texas, her great niece; Annalisa Waldkoetter, her great nephew Darrin Waldkoetter, her great great grandchildren; Abel and Lincoln, and her three great great step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; James Grubb, her parents; William and Eppa Jones, her daughter; Beth Fish, her step-son Brian Grubb, and her brothers; Arthur Jones, and Harry Jones, her sister; Martha Young, and her first great granddaughter; Melody Storm Henthorne.
A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Seymour at a later date. Burial will be in Smallwood Cemetery.
Family request for memorial contributions be made to The Kingdom Hall or Hospice of Jackson County in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
