Mrs. Brenda Lou Gay, 63, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to Jerry H. and Marie J. (Ross) Wright.
Brenda married Mark Gay on November 20,1999 in Hayden, IN., and he survives.
She was employed by DSI Home Health Care. She enjoyed camping and bowling and most of all she loved spending time with her grand kids.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Mark, and sons: Monty A. Cooper and Phillip D. Cooper, 5 stepchildren: Chris (Shanna) Hallett, Brandon (Ashley) Cole, Nathan (Rachel) Cole, AshLeigh Gay and Dustin Gay, 2 brothers: Jeffrey Ross and Gary Wright, a sister: Jennifer Campbell, and 7 grandchildren: Trace and Grant Cooper, Haley and Denver Hallett, Jacklyn and Ashlyn Cole, and Evan Harris
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Wright.
Funeral service will be at Voss & Sons funeral chapel on Thursday, February 16th, at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Steve Barrett officiating. Graveside service will follow at Hayden Cemetery, Hayden, IN.
Friends may call at Voss & Sons on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial checks may be written to the charity of choice.
