Charles Edward Stinson

Mr. Charles “Eddie” Edward Stinson Jr., 69, of Seymour, passed away September 21, 2014 at Covered Bridge Heath Campus.

Eddie was born in Woodbine, KY on August 9, 1945, the son of Charles Edward and Gladys (Petrey) Stinson.

On August 9, 1975 in Corydon, IN, he married Shirley Ann Simpson who survives.

Eddie was a graduate of Woodbine High School; he was a member of Jonesville Christian Church where he served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher. Eddie was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Corydon, IN.

Besides his wife, Eddie is survived by his children; Rodney (Jacqueline) Zimmerman, Madelyn, Cameron, 3rd child name unknown, Tony (Jenny) Stinson, Sandy (Scott) Teeter, Erica (Doug) Waynescott and Leslie (Tim) Meyer, grandchildren; Marcella (John) Gadd, Stacy Simpson, Jacob Stinson, Noah Stinson, Sarah Fawver, Kaitlyn (Joshua) James, Alyssa Meyer, Cameron Teeter, Ashley Teeter, Corey Isaac, Craig Waynescott and Darren Waynescott, great grandchildren; Tyler Gadd and Greyson Compton, brother; Larry (Sandy) Stinson, sisters; Carol Martin and Anita (T.K.) Parks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Gwen Witt and stepson; Gary Simpson.

Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 6:00PM with Rev. Stan Thomas officiating.

Visitation will be at Voss Chapel from 3PM to 6PM on Wednesday September 24.

Burial will be Thursday September 25, 2014 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Corydon IN.
