Cheryl Renne Greathouse

Cheryl Renne Greathouse, 61, of Seymour passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on March 6, 1961, in Vincennes, IN the daughter of Harold Leon and Diana Slade Lawrence.  She married Linda Moore on December 22, 2021, and she survives.

In addition to her wife Linda Cheryl is survived by her two children, Laura (Tim) Folsom and Michael (Amber) Greathouse.  In addition to her two children, she is also survived by six grandchildren, Jade, Kinsley, Chloe, Alex, Joseph and Annie; two great-grandchildren, Gracelyn and Aubriella and two brothers.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Charlotte Lawrence.

Family was everything to Cheryl as she was the glue and the rock that held everyone together in good times and in bad.  She enjoyed taking family camping trips, grilling, attending concerts and traveling.  Her favorite destination to travel too was down to Daytona Beach, FL.  She was currently employed with Valeo Logistics.  Prior to her employment she worked at Cummins where she was given the opportunity to attend college at Ivy Tech.  Cheryl’s family would like to thank the nurses of Schneck Home Hospice for the care and compassion they gave Cheryl and the family.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Cheryl’s name may be made to the Schneck Cancer Center, or to the Schneck Home Health and Hospice.
