Mrs. Cleo “Betty” Clouse Petro, age 92, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on April 12, 2015 at 8:30am at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
She was born January 7, 1923 in Seymour to Ezra Clouse and Nellie (Pugh) Clouse. Mrs. Petro was employed for a year at the Seymour Shirt Factory, she also worked at the Arvins Plant and 10 years at Indiana University as a custodian. On September 30, 1959, in Bloomington, she married Charles Ralph Petro. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1991.
Mrs. Petro is survived by her children, Jessie (Linda) Johnson and James (Wilma) Johnson, grandchildren, Rebekah Sue (Dan) Klaus and step grandchildren, George Gianos and Kimberly Gianos, great granddaughter, Sydney Layne Johnson, 6 step-great grandchildren and sister, Edna (Raymond) Marsh.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Floyd Ralford Claude Clouse and Wallace Edward Clouse, sisters, Virginia Petro, Dorothy Campfield, Clotha Mae Clouse and one grandson, Timothy Lee Johnson.
When health permitted she attended Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle.
Friends may call at Voss Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 15 from 4:00- 7:00pm and 1:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday, April 16.
Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Thursday, April 16 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Larry Arrowood, officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, with a Voss dove release.
Family ask that all memorial donation be given to The Tabernacle.
