Dana Edward Naffe, 57 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.
He was born September 28, 1958, in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Charles E. “Bud” Naffe and Lora Mae (VonDielingen) Naffe who survives.
He married Vicki D. Deweese on February 7, 1987, in Louisville, Kentucky, and she survives.
Dana was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. After graduating from Seymour High School, he worked his entire life as a farmer. He spent his free time enjoying tractor pulls, racing, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the National Garden Tractor Pullers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Naffe, his son, Alex Naffe, and his mother, Lora Mae Naffe. He also leaves his step daughters: Lori (James) Barnett and Ginger (Fred) Troncone; and grandchildren: Adeline, Eloise and Franklin Troncone. He is also survived by his sister, Marlene (Martin) Maassen, his aunt, Carol (Bill) Stuckwisch, several nieces and nephews, and a very good friend, Roger Wehmiller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Naffe, his uncles: Leo, Arnold and Hershel VonDielingen; and his aunts: Alberta Baxter, Alice Eldridge, Lois Riley and Darlene VonDielingen. He was also preceded by his father-in-law, Raymond Deweese, mother-in-law, Louise E. (Waskom) Deweese, and sister-in-law, Kathy Deweese.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 11:00 am.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Thursday, April 7 from 3 to 8 pm and Friday after 10:00 am until time of service.
Memorial checks may be written to Trinity Lutheran High School or charity of choice.
