Darlene Riley, 52, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was a resident of Seymour.
She was born November 20, 1967 in Columbus, IN to Dorothy (Callahan) and Edward Riley, Jr. Survivors include three children, Riley Rachelle Deaton of Georgetown, Brittany Hope Perdue of Beattyville, KY, and Earnest Rice of Austin; mother, Dorothy (Robert) Hickman of Fortville; five sisters, Donna K. Gross of Austin, Diana (Chuck) Stanton of Seymour, Deborah (Kevin) Taylor of Pittsburgh, Dena (Steve) Hartley of Arcadia, and Dora Riley of Lapel; one brother, Edward Dancel Riley of Seymour; two step brothers, Jim (Lucy) Rush of Bowling Green, KY and Rick (Karen) Gross of Trenton, OH; and seven grandchildren. She was blessed to help raise and care for one granddaughter, Aunna.
Visitation will take place from 1-3PM, Monday at Voss & Sons Funeral Services, 316 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour. Pastor Kenny Robertson will officiate a funeral service at 3PM, Monday at the funeral home.
