Donald W. “Frenchie” French, age 75 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on October 21, 2016, at his home.
He was born on March 1, 1941, in Seymour, Indiana, the son of Donald B. and Bernice (Maschino) French.
Don retired from Cummins, and was a member of the Diesel Workers Union. He was a woodworker in his garage in his spare time.
Don was a loving father and grandfather and is survived by his soulmate of over 30 years, Lovelita “Lity” Johnson of Seymour, three sons: Johnny (Mary) French, Randall (Sharon) French, and Darin French; two sisters: Clara Imlay and Mary Vandiver; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jeremy Hare and two brothers-in-law: David Imlay and Joe Vandiver.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on October 26, 2016, at 10:30 am with Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Reddington Cemetery in Reddington.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm and Wednesday after 9:30 am until time of service.
