Douglas “Randy” Pulley, 42 of Seymour, passed away August 6, 2014 at Schneck Medical Center.
He was born on January 26, 1972, in Granite City, IL, the son of the late Archie D. Pulley and Dorothy R (Blythe) Wilson.
Randy graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1984; he was a member of Seymour Harvest Church and People’s Tabernacle, French Lick IN. He worked at First Chance in Orleans, IN and was active in Special Olympics of Orange County. Randy loved anything pertaining to Jesus and Church, where he also played the drums and tambourine. He enjoyed all things related to the Army. He also enjoyed motorcycles, wrestling, and especially Nascar, including his favorite drivers; Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
He is survived by brothers; Archie L. Pulley, Russell K. Pulley, Rickie R. (Lora) Pulley Sr., and Rev. Samuel (Kathy) Becerra, sisters; Linda Pulley and Sue Pulley and several nieces and nephews. Randy is also survived by his Seymour family including his special #2 parents; Gary and Felicia Dyer, with whom he lived for 11 years, and siblings, Justin T. (Carmer) Dyer, Jeremiah (Deserae) Dyer, Trisha (Tony) Fye-Dyer, Dylan M. Dyer and Farron J. Dyer.
He is preceded in death by his parents and step father Rev. Jack Wilson.
Funeral service will be conducted at Seymour Harvest Church on Saturday, August 9, at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. Larry Robbins and Rev. Gary Dyer officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Orleans IN on Monday, August 11, 2014.
Family and friends may call at Harvest Church from 11:00 until time of service on Saturday, August 9 2014.
