Mr. Earl Luckey, 87, of Seymour, IN passed away on November 30, 2014 at his home.
Earl was born in Bartholomew County, IN on July 27, 1927, the son of Samuel and Lillian (Reed) Luckey.
On December 9, 1950, in Brownstown, he married Beulah Edna Cole.
He retired from Lear Siegler in Seymour, IN in 1988 after 36 ½ years and also retired from Jamestown Apartments, Seymour in 2008. Earl served as a trustee for 27 years, church bus driver for 40 years, and an honorary usher at Seymour Christ Temple. He was also a member of the National Guard, serving as a sharpshooter.
Earl is survived by his wife, Beulah; children: Linda Jaynes, Brian (Deloris) Luckey, Mark (Shannon) Luckey; Grandchildren: Sherry Kinworthy-Selby, Aaron (Morgan) Luckey, Mindy (Adam) Velez; Great-Grandchildren: Dessira Kinworthy, Drew Selby, Nori Luckey, and Titus Velez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Luckey; twin brother, Merrill Luckey; son, David Luckey; and daughter, LaDonna Luckey.
Funeral services will be at Seymour Christ Temple, 607 Euclid Avenue, Seymour, on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30 PM with Rev. Dennis Allman and Rev. Dennis Allman II officiating.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 4, at Riverview Cemetery at 9:30 AM.
Visitation will be held at Seymour Christ Temple on Wednesday, December 3 from 2:30 PM until the time of service.
