Mrs. Elois Hunsucker, 84, of Seymour passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
She was born in Seymour, Indiana, on July 12, 1930, daughter to the late Robert Paul and Yolande (Ruddick) Hair.
Elois was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Rolling Hills, Ladies Auxiliary of The Eagles. She enjoyed crocheting and working with crafts. Her love was her family to who she was very devoted.
She married Sam Hunsucker on April 26, 1947 in Trafalgar, IN.
She is survived by daughter; Brenda K. Ellett Coulter, and 2 sons; Michael D. (Susan) Hunsucker and Fred Hunsucker, 5 grandchildren; Kevin (Jodee) Ellett, Shawn Hunsucker, Jessica (Bryan) Zumhingst, Bobby Hunsucker and Adrianna (Jon Seybert) Darwish and 5 great grandchildren, John Hall, Ariah Hunsucker, Colton Zumhingst, Yarra Ellett and Silas Ellett.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Karen J. Darwish, granddaughter Stephanie Hall, sons in laws Michael Coulter and Mostafa Darwish, brother Paul A. Hair, sisters Roberta Surenkamp and Hope Babb.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Monday, 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Steve Muster, officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss Funeral Service, 316 N. Chestnut St., Voss Chapel on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday after 12 noon until time of service.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
