Ernest “Ernie” L. Hoffman, 72, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 2, 1951, in Seymour, the son of Clarence and Marjorie (Egert) Hoffman. On November 14, 1970, Ernie married Connie Manning in Commisky, IN and she survives.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, and one son John Hoffman.
Ernie worked as a stone mason throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, gardening, especially planting tomatoes and woodworking. He was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church in Brownstown, IN.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Voss & Son’s Funeral Home with Steve Muster officiating. The family will meet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Hayden Cemetery in Hayden. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
