Ethel Eldridge

September 23, 1929 - August 22, 2015

Mrs. Ethel Jane Eldridge, 85 of Salem, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

Ethel was born September, 23, 1929, in Cawood, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harve and Rachel Mitchell Swanson.

She married Troy Vanbebber in 1942 in Kentucky.

Ethel spent her entire life being a caring housewife and mother to her family.

Ethel is survived by her three children, Lee Roy Vanbebber Jr, Ruby Caudill, and Norma Jean Morgan; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant son, four brothers, Gibb, Harim, Willard, and Franklin Swanson; and four sisters, Leona Burkhart, Lottie Mullins, Sudie Grubbs, and Mae Price.

A private graveside service will be conducted at a cemetery in Kentucky. All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff at Voss & Sons Funeral Service and TriCounty Crematory.
