Evelyn Casey, 95, of Columbus, passed away January 3, 2023, at the Belmont Nursing Home. Evelyn was born on April 10, 1927, in Henryville, Indiana to Mary Franke Stewart and Wally Stewart. She married Willard Casey on November 11, 1947, in Austin, Indiana. He preceded her in death in August 2015.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Stephen) Casey Lawyer, and Daryl (Jackie) Casey; three grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Stewart; and three sisters, Betty Druin, Shirley Burns, and Carolyn Jeanette Spivey.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Evelyn was a member of the Jonesville Christian Church. She was a Sunday school teacher at the church for church for many years. Evelyn enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Evelyn was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children.

Visitation will be held from 11-1PM, Wednesday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service.  A funeral service will follow at 1PM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow service at Riverview Cemetery.
