Mrs. Freida Annabelle Zike Graham, 89 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
She was born March 20, 1927, in Freetown, Indiana, the daughter of Jacob Clyde and Dorothy (Wheeler) Zike.
She married Charles Edwin Graham on November 30, 1946, in Freetown, Indiana, and he preceded her in death July 18, 1983.
Freida was a member of the Freetown Church of Christ. She worked several years at Blazer Industries. She was a loving housewife who enjoyed spending her time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She loved to play Bingo and listen to music.
She is survived by her children: Terry E. (Joyce) Graham, Linda (Jimmy) Mifflin, Brenda (David) Rockey and Glenda (Justin) Asher; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Baute, and one brother, Harold Zike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles, two brothers, Bruce and Eugene Zike; and two sisters, Lucille Graham and Marie Bevers.
Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 11:00 am with Brace Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday after 10:00 am until time of service.
Memorial checks may be written to the American Alzheimer’s Association, the American Cancer Society or Hospice of South Central Indiana.
