Mr. Gary Walter “Cali” Noblitt, 69 of Jonesville, Indiana passed away, Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Covered Bridge Health Campus.
He was born February 6, 1946, in Tacoma, Washington, the son of the late Wilbur W. and Virginia (Thomas) Noblitt.
Cali was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville. He retired from Southern Indiana Mill Works after several years of service. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Seymour and enjoyed going to Dan Cycles Sales and visiting the guys. He loved to ride his moped, Country Music and Nascar. This year, he was blessed by being able to attend a Nascar Race up in Indianapolis, “The Brickyard” and watching his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon, drive in his last race at the track.
Cali is survived by his companion Sheila Blanton, son Shawn Blanton and family, brother Larry Noblitt, aunts Edith Barlow and Emma Jane Ferry, uncle Robert and Shirley Noblitt, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Voss and Sons Funeral Service on, Wednesday, December 16, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville, with Rev. Edgar Keinath, officiating.
Friends and family may call at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville, on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jonesville.
