Geraldine Perry

Mrs. Geraldine Perry, 80 of Salem, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

She was born March 29, 1935, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Jack and Mae Coffman Sanders.

She married James Elmer Perry on June 25, 1953, and he passed away on July 9, 1998.

Geraldine attended the Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour along with other various churches. She was retired.

She is survived by ten children – Doris Newby, Janice Roberts, Patricia Burdine, Tammy Reed, Timmy A. Perry, Grant E. Perry, Mary Anderson, Melody Ann Perry, Marvin Glen Perry, and Larry Perry, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three brothers, Jackie, Floyd, and David Sanders.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, James Wesley Perry, one grandson, Rodney Reed, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, Lloyd Sanders and Larry Sanders; and one sister, Wanda Burgess.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Carty officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
