Mr. Jack Heiman, 86, of Brownstown, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jack was born in Jackson County, Indiana, on October 4, 1928, the son of Howard and Esther (Plump) Heiman. On September 10, 1947, he married Donna Mae Anderson who survives.
Jack was a member of Surprise Christian Church. He graduated from the Brownstown High School Class of 1946. He retired from Cummins Engine Company after 41 years of service. Jack was also a farmer.
Jack is survived by his wife, Donna Heiman, children, Dennis (Cindy) Heiman, Debra (Dale) Heiman-Shelly; grandchildren: Susan Jackson, Jason (Fiancée Gabbi Todd) Kindred, Erica Heiman-Bohn; step-grandson, David Shelly, great-grandchildren: Jake Bohn and Scout Bohn; step-grandchildren; Logan Shelly, Savannah Todd and Tiffany Todd; step-great-great-granddaughter: Irelande Todd; and sister, Doris Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, T.J. Heiman and a brother, Noble Heiman.
Services will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Nelson Lee and Rev. Rick Grant. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery, Seymour, Indiana.
Friends may call at Voss and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2015, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
