Jackie Von LeQuire, 76, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016, at his residence.
Jackie was born March 1, 1940, in Thornton, Kentucky; he was the son of the late, John and Dicey (Hall) LeQuire. Jackie married Elnora Owens on April 27, 1960, in Seymour.
Jackie had worked for Glen Manion and was a maintenance man for Freeman Field in Seymour. He was an avid music lover and was the manager of “Randy and the Good Ole Boys” music group for over 40 years. Jackie himself enjoyed making music; he played the banjo, guitar and fiddle. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and just sitting in his swing. Jackie was a member of the Alley Church of Seymour.
In addition to his wife, Elnora, Jackie is survived by his children: Kim (Scott) Charlton, Anita Nalley (Joseph Sizemore), Carla Suhar, Randy (Sheila) LeQuire, Ronda (Brad) Combs and Tammy (Terry) Goodpaster; a brother: Ronnie (Barbara) LeQuire; Grandchildren: Joshua (Madlean) Anderson, Christopher (Tacara) Staggs, Shawn (Kristina) Charlton, Kara (Kyle) Rice, Cody (Heather) Goodpaster, Constance (B.J.) Swindsford, Tausha LeQuire (Justin), Jessica (Brian) White, Ryan Combs and Kyler LeQuire; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Charleen Stout and Coreen Hurt; and a brother: Efford Adams.
A memorial service will be 11:00am on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Voss Chapel with The Reverend Rick Wilson officiating.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel from 10:00 am until 11:00am Tuesday prior to the service.
