James A. Joseph

November 28, 1955 - November 18, 2014

Mr. James Andy Joseph, 58, of Seymour, passed away November 18, 2014 at his home.

James was born November 28, 1955, in Hyden, KY to the late Alfred and Mavie (Pennington) Joseph.

He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and pitching horseshoes.

James will be missed by brothers; Bradley (June) Joseph, Paul (Nola) Joseph, Elvin (Mary) Joseph and Cletis Wells, sisters; Bertha Helton, Nannie Howard, Mary (Ronnie) McIntosh, Emily (Bobby) Cummins, Sarah (David) McIntosh, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bill, Alfred Jr., David and Edward, sisters Martha Chandler, Marcella Shepard and Eunice Stidham.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Voss Chapel with Brother Johnnie Spivey officiating. Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service.

Burial will take place at Hayden Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Community Church.
