James “Jim” Bunch, Jr., 66, of Seymour passed away on October 11, 2023, at Autumn Trace in Seymour. Jim was born on May 19, 1957, in New Albany, IN to James and Evelyn (Spath) Bunch, Sr. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and retired as a supervisor from DuPont. Jim was also a co-founder of Advantage Enterprises Electric Company, and had also worked for J.E. Reedy, Inc. Mr. Bunch was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. During his free time, Jim loved working with and riding horses, and spending time with his family and friends above all things.

Mr. Bunch is survived by his daughter, Brooke (P.J. Dvorak) Bunch; nephew, Alex Love. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Love.

A memorial mass for Mr. Bunch will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 325 South Chestnut St, Seymour, IN. Burial will take place at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2778 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN after the memorial mass. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service Friday at the church.
