Jane L. Nichalson Henley, 77, of Seymour passed away Monday, December 8, 2014.
Jane was born October 5, 1937 in Seymour to Francis “Sam” Nichalson and Aldeen Innis Nichalson who preceded her in death.
Jane graduated from Shields High School and retired from the Aviation Department in the city of Seymour in 2001. She was a member of Central Christian Church, a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #655 and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
She married Ray C. “Red” Henley, November 24, 1971 and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bob (Kathy) Combs; sister and brother-in-law, Irene (John) Sprenger; niece, Karen (Scott) Surface; nephew, Steven Sprenger; three step-daughters: Laura (Cullen) Stahl, Rayetta (Orville) Akers and Sandra (Ron) Barnes; two step-sons: Tom (Pat) Henley and Terry (Jennifer) Henley; and several step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren.
Jane is preceded in death by a son, David S. Combs on August 19, 1998 and a step-son, Fred Henley.
Visitation will be held at Voss Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Graveside services will held at Riverview Cemetery on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:15 PM.
