Janice Marie White

Janice Marie White, 55 of Medora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 11:14 a.m.

She was born August 9, 1960, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carl Kriete and Carolyn Sue (Durham) Kriete Young.

She married Ernest L. White, Jr., on September 23, 1995, in Seymour, Indiana, and he survives.

Janice attended Easyville Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, and loved her cats and dogs.

She is survived by her husband, her children, Jelisa (Mark Dillon) Jackson, Rex (Jessica) Miller, and Jessica (Jeremy) Wetzel; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Mason Imlay, Dakota, Savanna, and Tyler Wetzel, and Lynnzie and Jonathan Miller; a special niece, Darla; two step-daughters; a sister, Darlena (Norman) Engleking, five step-brothers, one step-sister, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, several aunts and uncles, and several cousins.

Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. with cremation to follow at Tri-County Crematory, Voss & Sons Funeral Service. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
