Kathy Jo Barrett, age 58, of Seymour, passed away at Schneck Medical Center on January 24, 2024.
Kathy was born in Seymour, IN on February 10, 1965, to the late Silven Vires, Sr. and Pauline Dorothy (Hahn) Derringer. She graduated from Seymour High School and worked at the US Shoe Factory in Crothersville for several years.
Survivors include her companion of over 15 years, Dennis Frady; her children, Robert (Katherine) Gudgel of Lexington and Addie Roll of Commiskey; Linda (Rick) Rhinehart of Ohio, Sherry McKinney of Uniontown and Silven Vires, Jr. of Albion, IN; five grandchildren, Brianna Evans of Scottsburg, Treyton Roll and Isiah Roll of Scottsburg, Abagail Gudgel Allison Gudgel of Lexington.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Karen Boxman.
All services will be private.
Services are entrusted to Voss and Sons Funeral Service and Crematory.
