Kermit Eugene Bannister

Mr. Kermit Eugene Bannister, 68, of Seymour passed away on December 10, 2014.

Born September 4, 1946 in Crothersville, IN, the son of Gerald and Helen Engle Bannister. .

Kermit retired from Cummins Engine Company. His passions were bowling and watching baseball. His favorite baseball team was Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed going to the American Legion.

He is survived by his children: Joyce Bedwell, Trisia (Harold) Edmonson; grandchildren: Chris Lee, Dakota Kirk, Shelby Bannister, Mackenzie Edmonson, Caden Edmonson, Kaylee Edmonson; brothers: Bert Bannister, Clifford Bannister; sisters: Ruby Bannister and Sandra Hart.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Solsberry.

The family is honoring Kermit’s last wishes that, there will be no funeral or visitation services and that cremation be done locally in Seymour. Voss & Sons Funeral Service is providing these services for the family.

Memorials may be written to the American Kidney Foundation.
