Lucretia “Lucy” J. Tuggle

Mrs. Lucretia “Lucy” J. Tuggle, 76, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016.

Born November 22, 1939, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of Alvin and Viva Hauersperger Gerth.

On February 20, 1960, at the Four Corners Catholic Church in Hayden, she married Richard “Dick” Tuggle who preceded her September 5, 2012.

Lucy was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She was co-owner of Hilltop Furniture Store. She loved crocheting and working puzzles. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Elaine Jo (Roger) Tuggle Nolan, Candace Kay Tuggle Gluck, and Christina Marie (Chad) Tuggle Gray; grandchildren, Kirsten Nolan (Fiance Tim Holland), Jessica Faught, Samantha Jones, Jenna Gray and Conner Howard; and great grandchildren, Adalyn and Nolan, Andrew, Brody, and Brooklyn, and Harmony; brothers, John (Pat) Gerth and Mark (Sherry) Gerth; sisters, Juanita (Mark) McClellan and Marcia (Kim) Stroud; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday from 3-7 and at St. Ambrose Catholic Church after 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Rosary Service will be conducted at Voss Chapel on Sunday at 2:30 pm.

Memorials may be written to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
